2nd Anniversary

Two years ago I married my best friend in a beautiful ceremony on August 2nd.  It's hard to believe how fast the last two years have gone by.  I feel so lucky to be married to such an incredible man and know he is not only an amazing husband but will be an amazing father to his daughter.  I love you babe!

Cody planned a surprise anniversary date for us and wouldn't tell me what we were doing ahead of time.  He obviously knows me very well as he planned a wonderful get away for just us with all my favorite things.  We went into Seattle and stayed at the Hotel 1000.  Cody talked to our friend Kelly who works at the hotel and was able to get us a fabulous suite.  My favorite part of the room was the bathtub that filled with water from the ceiling :).

The hotel added a number of special touches that made our stay very memorable including these yummy little cupcakes that were delivered to our room.

Cody was very sweet to plan a couples massage for us at the beautiful spa at the hotel.  I'm constantly complaining about how much my back and hips hurt these days, so the pregnancy massage was the perfect present and I couldn't have asked for anything better.  It was fun to enjoy the massages together and Cody admitted that he enjoyed his first massage!

The hotel had a virtual golf club where you can play any golf course in the world so Cody took some practice swings at the virtual driving range. 

We then went shopping and found the little outfit we're planning on bringing our little girl home from the hospital in.  Of course it's pink! :)  We ate dinner at Anthony's on the waterfront and sat outside to enjoy the incredible view.

Cody took Monday off work so we could sleep in and enjoy the day together.  We started the day by walking from the hotel to Pike Place Market.

My favorite thing about the market is their beautiful bouquets of flowers, so we couldn't leave without getting some!

Thanks for making our anniversary so special babe!  I'm looking forward to celebrating many more anniversaries and special moments with you in the future!
