Love these two...

It's gotta be pretty fun being 17 months old and having your daddy wrapped around your finger ;).  Love watching these two play together...

Happy Heart Day!

I am so lucky to have two valentines!  Love my amazing husband and sweet, sweet girl.

 Ella received her first bouquet of roses from a boy...her daddy is so sweet to her (and to me!).

She joined me at school for my class party.  My first graders were so good with her and she loved the attention, of course.  She was so happy sitting in their desks, helping them with their valentine craft projects, and eating their snacks :).

Sun!

I don't think anyone appreciates feeling the warmth of the sunshine in February as those of that live in the pacific northwest.  Although it was short lived, we enjoyed a few consecutive days of sun and seasonal warmth.  We made the most of it by getting outside as much as possible.

I love that our neighborhood has a number of parks in walking distance from our house.  Ella's favorite thing these days is going down the slide.  As soon as she gets to the bottom, she says and signs "more" to do it again.  She loves pushing herself off all on her own.  She is getting to be such a big girl!

 Ella and I met up with Alison and Nathan to go for a walk along the waterfront in Kirkland, let the kids play at a playground, and have a picnic lunch in the beach area.  Gotta love their Seattle "beach" attire ;).

 We didn't think about packing beach toys to play in the sand so Ella and Nate made the most of our empty Starbucks cups and sippy cups.
