Ella's First Dance Recital

Ella has loved dance classes this year -- her teacher has been amazing and she's made good friends with some of her fellow dancers (and me with their moms!).  Ella was so excited about her recital, especially about getting to wear makeup and a darling costume.  Her dance was to Shirley Temple's "Good Ship Lollipop".  So cute!  It was so special to have my mom in town for her first recital - thanks grandma for making the trip up here for it!  Ella did such a good job and her little class was so cute on stage.  IDT puts on an amazing production, the first half was Swan Lake (with the high school students) and the second half was individual classes being showcased.  So proud of this girl!

Flowers for her teacher, the very loved Miss Shannon...

Ella was so excited to get her own bouquet of flowers after the show...

Lucy sat still on my lap for the first 10 minutes of Swan Lake.  She spent the rest of the show with her sweet daddy walking around the lobby.  She will not sit still!

Ella's request for after the show was Red Robin for dinner and ice cream cones ...
 Lucy was a fan...

Here is (the shaky version of) her dance if you want to watch the whole thing :).  Cody was holding Lucy and she wasn't making it easy for him to videotape...

Last Day of Preschool

Congrats to Ella on a great first year of drop off preschool!  We are so proud of you and all you have learned this year!  We have LOVED Glory Days Preschool in Issaquah and are sad to be leaving such amazing teachers and friends.  But, I am thankful to be done with the commute from Bothell to Issaquah twice a week for the last 6 weeks :).

Darling last day of school program at Glory Days where each class sang two songs...

 Ella's sweet friend Alanya...
We will miss Miss Julie and Miss Claire!

Can't believe how much these girls have grown in the last school year!

Enjoying a sunny day at Pine Lake park...
 Happy 1st Birthday to Hudson!
Darling Mother's Day tea at Ella's preschool...
Perfect Mother's Day spent with my loves on the Seattle Great Wheel...
Poor girl fell and knocked her tooth.  X-rays showed it was broken and would need to be extracted.  Thankful it was just her baby tooth!
 Seabrook...
Showing off her adorable new smile! So proud of how brave she was and how she handled it all...
Oh Lucy.  I pulled out dog food from her mouth 4 times in one day.  Apparently it's time to baby proof the house...
Such a happy surprise to find peonies blossoming in the yard!
Six mile run with these lovely ladies on a HOT day - rewarded with Red Hook at the end...
