Santa visit

No surprise we got tears this year from Lucy!  She has stranger anxiety as it is, but Santa took it to a whole new level!  Ella, however, was super excited to see him for the first time.  She ran right up to him, showed him her letter she had written, and had a sweet little chat with him.  I love that Ella included Lucy on her Santa letter.

A sweet moment at home before going to see Santa...

We ended up having dinner at the Cheesecake Factory after our Santa visit and stayed for Snowflake Lane.  Both girls loved it!

We ran into Ella's friend from preschool, Morgan, and her sweet family...

 Mesmerized by the fake snow...

Oh Christmas Tree

I've always loved our annual family tradition to find a Christmas tree at a tree farm.  This year was especially dreamy as there was still snow on the ground and trees, and it was a beautiful, sunny day.  We headed to Farmer Brown's Tree Farm and enjoyed walking through the snow to find our perfect tree.  I was excited to get a really tall tree this year since we have vaulted ceilings now.  We didn't realize just how big and bushy it was until we got it home!

Thanksgiving 2014

Thanksgiving party at E's preschool...
Love her artwork on the wall - "Thank you, God for my daddy"...

Ella spent most of Thanksgiving morning glued to the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade on TV.  I love how into it she was - always has been and is still is one of my favorite things about Thanksgiving...

Ready for Thanksgiving with the Lees and Furphys at the Lee's house...

Love that Jill had a kid's table set up for the girls! And so sweet of Audrey to hang out with them for most of the day...

Ella eying Lucy's roll - she basically ate rolls for her Thanksgiving meal...
Lucy is obsessed with Bear - she spent the day tormenting poor Bear, who is the sweetest and most tolerant dog...
Love you Audrey!
Reading books with Auntie Jill during the Seahawks game...
Blake (who I had as a first grader and is now a ninth grader!!) is and always has been so good with the girls.  They just love him!
Thankful for friends who are like family!
