Sunriver

We spent a wonderful, relaxing week in Sunriver, Oregon with my family.  My parents drove up from Turlock, David and Emily drove over from Eugene, and we drove down from Seattle.  It was so great to be with them all for a week, especially because David and Emily are moving to Boston! My parents were so gracious in sharing their two time shares with us so we could all be together.  I have so many memories from family vacations in Sunriver growing up and loved bringing my girls to one of my favorite places.  We spent lots of time playing in the pool, going for bike rides, taking morning trips to get coffee and donuts in the village, eating ice cream at Goody's, playing cards after the girls were in bed, and golfing (for Cody and my dad!).

Playing in the village...
 Our first trip to Goody's...
While waiting in the long line for ice cream, Lucy was walking around to everyone eating ice cream and signing "please, please" to give her some!

Lucy loved wearing her helmet and riding in the bike trailer.  She was signing "more" after we got back from a ride and she didn't want to get out...

We had one day of yucky weather with thunderstorms, rain and hail.  Ella was in heaven staying inside and playing "nail salon" with Auntie Emily...

Back to the pool when the sun came out...

We took a morning family bike ride to the village bakery...
And Ella got the biggest donut I've ever seen...

We then rode out to the stables where Ella decided she wanted to ride a pony.  She did great riding a pony on her own for the first time!

We spent a day at the SHARC - an amazing swim facility that has pools, water slides, a lazy river, a toddler pool, and a beach area.  The girls loved it!

Sunriver is really so beautiful.  The girls had fun running on the golf course our last evening...

Our drive home took 9.5 hours due to traffic. Thankfully these two were troopers!
