Seabrook

Instead of our annual friend trip to Suncadia this year, we headed to the coast and spent a long weekend in Seabrook.  The town almost seemed unreal -- it is so cute and just the perfect little beach town. We had a really great time, despite an emergency trip to a dentist in Ocean Shores after Ella fell and knocked her front tooth back.  She was a trooper even after it happened and it didn't stop us from having fun!  We stayed in the Sunset magazine idea house - it was actually four houses all connected by a courtyard on the inside.  It worked perfect for our five families of 10 adults and 9 kids. While there was lots of chaos with all the kids, the adults even managed to have dinner together three nights in a row after kids were in bed.  So thankful for our wonderful friends and that we've been able to do a weekend away together for five years in a row now.  Here's a compilation of everyone's pics from the weekend:

After Ella's fall and finding out her tooth would have to come out, we started talking up the tooth fairy big time.  It worked out perfectly that there was the cutest little "fairy trail" at the start of a hike we all went on.  Ella was enchanted by all the little fairy houses that people had made and left on the trail and she totally bought into the whole thing.  At the beginning of the trail...

 The trail ended on the beach and we took a walk back on the beach to our house.  Love this group of friends!

 There was (randomly) a Norwegian parade that we planned on going to watch.  We ended up being in the small little parade :).  The kids loved it and loved the ice cream they got at the end...
