Our friend Gina Mazzaferro is an awesome photographer and she offered to take cake smash pictures of Lucy right before she turned one. Such a fun photo session - Gina even coordinated the colors and theme to go with Lucy's birthday party. Lucy wasn't totally into eating the cake, and was definitely done taking pictures by the end - the one of her crying towards the end is one of my favorites :). I love how Gina captured her range of expressions from happy to curious to crying.
And I love that we got a few pictures of Lucy in this little outfit - it's the same outfit we took Ella's one year pictures in...
These were from a different photo session back in February. We used a few of them on the back of Lucy's party invitations - wanted to include them here for my blog book...
