First Spa Manicure

My sweet husband got Ella and I a gift card to get mother-daughter manicures at InSpa for Christmas and we finally got around to using it!  Ella had insisted on me straightening her hair that morning so she could have "Rapunzel hair".  She asks for straight hair every once in awhile when she sees me doing my hair, but it's rare that we have time (or I have the energy) to do it.  I can't get over how long her hair is when it's straight and how much older she looks!  Of course we had to take a few pictures before heading off for our manicures.  Ella wanted to take pictures in her little sister's room...hence the reason she's in her old crib :).

Ella was super excited to go get her manicure and talked about what nail polish color she wanted to choose for days leading up to our appointment.  We've painted her fingers and toes at home quite a few times and she's usually pretty good about sitting still and letting them dry.  She was so cute at the spa...she knew the exact pink color she wanted and sat perfectly still while the manicurist did her nails (complete with a little flower on each nail) and let them dry.  The manicurists were all quite impressed that she was only two years old!  Love my sweet girly girl and the fun things we get to do together!

  3. Oh my goodness she looks soooo different with straight hair. And you're right! It's much longer. But her curls are the most darling thing in the world too. She'll just be that girl who can wear her hair both ways that everyone envies ;). So fun you got to do manicures together!
