I know our little girl is so incredibly lucky to have such an amazing daddy who is already head-over-heels in love with her. We celebrated Cody as a soon-to-be dad and are looking forward to celebrating his first "real" father's day next year with his little girl. I am so thankful that our baby will have Cody for her dad and am so thankful for what an amazing man he is. With me being constantly exhausted and burnt out from the end of the school year, I have been so fortunate to have Cody pitch in even more than he already does! He's done a great job continuing to work on the baby's room, has made numerous dinners and even come up with some of his own recipe ideas, has come into my classroom at the last minute (when he gets a panicked phone call from me!) to help take down butcher paper and help me pack up for summer, has read numerous parenting books, and has enjoyed reading our little girl some books through my belly :). Needless to say, us girls are lucky to have such a wonderful hubby/daddy!
The baby surprised Cody with a few little gifts on Father's Day...
We also celebrated Father's Day with a rainy Mariner's game with my family. Despite the rain, we had a good time and even saw the Mariner's win a game!
Here are my lovely parents...Happy Father's Day dad!
My grandparents...
My brother Tom, and Cody and I...
The plan was to have an outdoor BBQ after the game at my parent's house, but with the rain, we moved dinner indoors and enjoyed time spent with family. Happy Dad's Day!
