Santa Pic 2012

Well, she's not exactly sitting on Santa's lap, but I love this picture regardless...

Nordstrom was amazing at easing Ella's fears of the big guy by letting her warm up to him, not rushing the process, and letting us do a "bye-bye" Santa picture (Ella waved good-bye to Santa as she got to sit on his chair, then he reappeared behind her without her knowing for the picture).  By the end, she even let Santa give her a candy cane.  This is progress considering how terrified she has been anytime we have seen Santa in person this year.  She loves to sing, read, and talk about Santa, but seeing him in person usually sets her into a panic mode and clinging on tight to mom or dad.  Thank you Nordstrom - we will forever return for Santa pictures in the future!
