Happy Valentine's Day from our little Valentine!
We didn't make big plans, go out to a fancy dinner, or get dressed up for Valentine's Day this year. And that was perfect. We spent a quiet evening at home and it felt just right to spend Valentine's Day with the two people I love most. My mom had come over during the weekend to watch Ella so we could do an early date and see a movie so we were happy to spend Valentine's Day at home.
My thoughtful husband woke me up with roses and breakfast in bed. He got Ella a giant, red, heart balloon which entertained her all day. We made dinner together complete with heart shaped pasta and heart shaped biscuits, ate red velvet cake for dessert, and snuggled on the couch after Ella went to bed. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day!
